Who operates the service
Street View Together is operated by Ahmed Hossam, based in Egypt. Contact the operator using the email below for privacy questions or requests.
This notice covers Street View Together. Imagery, sign-in, mapping and payment providers also process information under their own policies.
Information we handle
We use information you provide and information needed to run the game, protect accounts and keep usage within available capacity.
- Account information: when you sign in with Google, we receive identity information such as your name, email address and verification status. We retain an account identifier and your chosen username/profile settings. We do not receive your Google password or access to your email inbox.
- Your collection and activity: saved places, appearance settings, owned items, purchase references, subscription coverage, play allowances, game attempts, scores and match results can be stored against your account.
- Social and community features: friend requests/connections, invitations, presence choices, public-profile settings, posts, comments, reactions and moderation actions are stored where those features are used.
- Support and safety: feedback, the reply email you optionally provide, reports and moderation records are retained. Player reports can contain submitted chat excerpts or other evidence, even though ordinary room chat is live room state.
- Operational information: connection times, room/provider references, player names and play-time/match statistics help operate and review the service. Network addresses and request information are needed for delivery, security and rate limits; usage records can use hashed network/account identifiers. Hosting and network providers may maintain their own request logs.
What other people can see
People in a room can see your public player identity, appearance, shared game activity and messages. The game shares virtual exploration locations and movement as needed for the selected mode; some game information stays hidden until a reveal. These are places explored in the game, not a request for your device GPS position.
A private invite controls room admission, not confidentiality between participants. Other participants can copy or record information they receive. Public community content and public-profile information are visible according to the feature and audience settings you choose. Sharing a post or place can reveal that content to its audience.
Account email addresses and private support/moderation details are not public player-profile fields. Authorized operators can access information needed for support, safety, usage accounting and service operation.
Optional voice chat
Voice chat asks for microphone permission when you choose to talk. Voice uses peer-to-peer WebRTC connections, with the server relaying connection signaling and voice state. Other peers and connection services can learn network addresses during connection setup.
The game does not record microphone audio on its server. This does not prevent another participant from recording what they hear. You can mute or leave voice and revoke microphone permission in your browser.
Cookies and browser storage
First-party cookies support sign-in, request protection and guest room identity. Sign-in sessions normally last up to 24 hours by default; the guest identity cookie can last 30 days. Server settings can shorten or otherwise configure sign-in duration.
Browser storage remembers choices such as your language, theme, appearance preview, game controls, audio, guides and room safety preferences. Some older saved-place information may remain in browser storage. Preferences can remain until you clear site data. Clearing cookies can remove guest identity and access to guest-owned rooms; it does not erase account-backed records.
These pages add no advertising or analytics tracker. If optional advertising is introduced, its data practices and any required choices must be disclosed before activation. Embedded providers can use their own cookies or storage under their policies.
Imagery, maps, sign-in and payments
Google sign-in and Google Maps/Street View connect your browser to Google. Google processing is described in the Google Privacy Policy, which applies to those services. Mapillary imagery connects to Mapillary/Meta, and the accompanying map can request tiles from OpenFreeMap. Those providers receive the requests needed to deliver their content, including network and browser information.
When paid checkout is offered, Lemon Squeezy processes checkout, payment details, receipts and applicable transaction taxes. The game stores the order/subscription references and entitlement information needed to provide purchases, review refunds and prevent duplicate fulfillment. Do not send full card details to the game operator.
Hosting, network and email providers process information needed to deliver the service and support correspondence. The operator is based in Egypt; providers and their processing locations may be in other countries. Their policies explain their own processing.
How long information stays
Different records serve different purposes. Completed or interrupted detailed connection records have a standard 30-day retention period, and player reports a standard 90-day period. These periods are configurable; material changes to the published retention policy need an updated notice. Active connections are not removed by the completed-session cleanup.
Player-linked and guest-linked all-time play totals, profile records and match summaries can be retained long term. They are not all deleted with detailed connection history. Account data, saved places, community content, safety records and purchase/accounting evidence may remain while needed to provide the service, handle disputes, prevent abuse or satisfy legal obligations.
Signing out or clearing browser storage does not delete these records. Data may also remain in backups until those backups are replaced or deleted. We do not promise that all data disappears after a single fixed period.
Your choices and privacy requests
You can change available profile/presence settings, remove saved places, manage your community content, leave voice and clear browser storage. Use care when sharing content publicly or in rooms.
To request access, correction or deletion of personal information, email ahmedhossamdev1@gmail.com. Requests are reviewed manually; there is no self-service account-deletion tool. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account and explain any records that must be retained. We do not promise automatic deletion of purchase, safety or other legally required evidence.
If you are a parent or guardian with a concern about information a child provided, contact the same address. Rights and available remedies depend on applicable law; this notice does not restrict them.
Updates to this notice
We will update the date on this page when the notice changes. Material changes to data practices will be explained through the service or another appropriate notice. Contact us if a deployment feature or setting appears inconsistent with this description.
